SMC气动三联件是指空气过滤器、减压阀和油雾器,有些的电磁阀和气缸能够实现无油润滑(靠润滑脂实现润滑功能),便不需要使用油雾器!过滤度一般为50-75μm,调压范围为0.5-10Mpa,如需过滤精度为5-10μm,10-20μm,25-40μm,及调压为0.05-0.3Mpa,0.05-1MpaSMC气动三联件无管连接而成的组件称为三联件。SMC气动三联件是多数气动系统中不可缺少的气源装置,安装在用气设备近处,是压缩空气质量的后保证。SMC气动三联件的安装顺序依进气方向分别为空气过滤器、减压阀和油雾器。空气过滤器和减压阀组合在一起可以称为SMC二联件。还可以将空气过滤器和减压阀集装在一起,便成为过滤减压阀(功能与空气过滤器和减压阀结合起来使用一样)。有些场合不能允许压缩空气中存在油雾,则需要使用油雾分离器将压缩空气中的油雾过滤掉。之,这几个元件可以根据需要进行选择,并可以将他们组合起来使用。 空气过滤器用于对气源的清洁,可过滤压缩空气中的水分,避免水分随气体进入装置。 减压阀可对气源进行稳压,使气源处于恒定状态,可减小因气源气压突变时对阀门或执行器等硬件的损伤。 油雾器可对机体运动部件进行润滑,可以对不方便加润滑油的部件进行润滑,大大延长机体的使用寿命。

日本SMC气源处理元件就是将这些可能存在于压缩空气中的杂质、
影响压缩空气质量的污染物进行过滤、分离,
以获得有利于实际使用要求的压缩空气质量。.
从进口流入的压缩空气,经导流片的切线方向的缺口强烈旋转,
液态油水及固态污染物受离心作用,被甩到水杯内壁上,
再流至底部。除去了液态油水及杂质的压缩空气,
通过滤芯进一步清除微小固态颗粒,然后从出口流出。
根据对空气质量的要求来选择过滤精度。
根据通过过滤器的大流量及两端允许的
大压力降来选择过滤器的规格。再选择过滤器的其他功能,
如是否需自动排水。水杯可以选尼龙杯、金属杯,
金属杯上还可以带液位计,还有引出排水管的形式等
气动技术是以压缩空气为工作介质的,
而从空压机输出的压缩空气中,含有大量的水分、
油分和粉尘等;系统内部也会产生污染物
(如相对运动件磨损产生金属粉和橡胶粉末);
