2． 随机误差
随机误差又称偶然误差，它是在相同条件下多次测旦同一被测量值的过程中所出现的、值和符号以不可预计的方式变化的误差。
随机误差主要是由于测量过程中校此独立的各种随机因素(例如．电磁场微变、空气扰动、大地微震等)对被测值的综合影响所造成的。
单次测量的随机误差的大小和方向都是不可预料的，因此无法修正，也不能采用实验方法予以消除。但是，随机误差在多次测量的体从统计规律，因此可以利用概率论和数理统计的方法来估计其影响。
3． 粗差
明显地歪曲测量结果的误差称为粗差。这种误差足由于测量操作者的粗心(如读铅、记错、算错数据等)、不正砌地操作、实验条件的突变或实验状况尚未达到预想的要求而匆忙实验等原因所造成的。
含有粗差的测量值称为异常值或坏值。一般地说，所有的坏值均应从测旦结果中剔除，但对原因不明的可疑测量值应根据一定的准则进行判断，方可决定是否应把该数值从测量结果中剔除掉。
