除传统的LC调试滤波器目前还在应用外,当前抑制谐波的一个重要趋势是采用有源电力滤波器,它串联或是并联于主电路中,实时从补偿对象中检测出谐波电流,由补偿装置产生一个与该谐波电流大小相等、方向相反的补偿电流,从而使电网电流只含基波电流。这种滤波器能对频率和幅值都变化的谐波进行跟踪补偿,其特性不受系统的影响,无谐波放大的危险,因而倍受关注,在日本等国已获得广泛应用
