Pur和ps类保温材料本质的差异在于前者是热固性材料而后者是热塑性材料。热塑性材料遇火引燃后易产生融滴,滴下燃烧的火球,很容易引燃其他材料,形成越来越多的着火点。如副楼29年元宵节被烟花爆竹的火花引燃,造成整个建筑的xps全部被烧毁,并影响到整个建筑钢结构的强度,造成了极大损失。而热固性材料的pur不但不会产生熔融滴落,而且在燃烧过程中表面会形成炭化结焦层,覆盖在表面,某种程度上阻隔了空气,火势蔓延。
