了解喷涂设备的分类及各自特点。流体喷涂设备一般来说可分成五大类：空气喷涂设备：空气喷涂是以压缩气作为雾化动力的喷涂方法。空气喷涂是简单的喷涂方法，至今已有几百年历史，但仍在普遍使用。主要是因为其成本低廉，操作简单，喷幅随意可调，而且喷涂效果是所有喷涂方式中好的。但空气喷涂的缺点也是明显的，一是油漆利用率低，涂料传递效率只有3%左右，波浪状的喷雾常易引起反弹及过喷等缺点。不但浪费了涂料，对环境也造成了相当的污染。
