该仪器主要用于鞋帮透水性和吸水性的测定。主要针对鞋面使用之物料：皮革、人造皮、布料…等，裁取标准试片，装置在试验机上，在外围有水的条件下，以标准的速率及角度挠折动作，曲挠一定时间后测知材料的渗透指数，作为研发改良材料防水加工之依据。

BALLY upper waterproof testing machine is used to measure the flexing resistance of shoe's

upper materials such as leather, synthetic leather and cloth immersed in water in order to be a

valuable reference for research, waterproof treatment and quality improvement.
