性质：无色流动性液体。沸点170-171℃，56.5℃（1.07kPa），相对密度1.200（24/4℃），折光率1.4035，闪点29℃。溶于水和多数有机溶剂。
制备方法：由甲醇与反应而得。
用途：用作润滑油添加剂、胶粘剂和某些有机合成中间体。用于合成杀虫剂氧化乐果、甲基硫环磷和除草剂草甘磷等。
