JACOB Float switches
Probably float switches are the most popular level monitoring devices. The clear and easily understandable function leads to increasing and new fields of use. In spite of the continuous electronic progress these easy to handle devices defend their position on the market – even without complicated electronics. The common implementation of float switches is mainly due to the possibility to realize materials (acidproof or also alkali-proof) and temperature ranges which are tailored to the individual needs of the customers.
JACOB Level measuring devices
In addition to the float switches we also included bar probes in our delivery program in order to expand the area of the level measuring. These level probes serve – in combination with transistor control relays – for the automatic control of conductive liquid levels.
JACOB Magnetic switches
Magnetic switches offer one decisive advantage for the user: regardless of the voltage fed (between 0 and 230 V) it is possible to operate the switches without potential (floating). This plays an important role in particular in the security area.
Furthermore magnetic switches are used in the whole sector of mechanical engineering as a low-cost alternative for the known inductive capacitance switches. Special structural shapes are implemented as motional switches in pressure plants and for the control of the soiling in filtering installations.
JACOB Temperature probes
A lot of the liquid levels which are used in the float switches or level measuring devices are also temperature controlled. In addition to the possibility to install the temperature probes or temperature diodes into the float switches we have included temperature probes in our delivery program which can be separately installed. By doing so we want to comply with the wishes of our customers who want their bathrooms not only to be level controlled but also temperature controlled.
