The Series TTM are state-of-the-art

Specimen Marking Machines

Series TA

The w+b specimen marking machines

are used for engraving gauge marks

on tensile specimens in order to measure

the elongation at rupture. As the

gauge marks are engraved and not

punched there is no infl uence of the

test results for the majority of materials.

Round and fl at bars as well as reinforcing

steel bars can easily and quickly

be marked. With a simple clamping

device the specimens can be mounted on the machine.

Fatigue Testing of Dental-Implants

Dynamic testing system Type

of dental implants determine

the loading acting on the implant

to the periimplant bone tissue

Simulation of Fractures

Dynamic testing machine specially designed

for high speed impact tests on

biomedical samples. Simulation of fractures

of the fi rst phalanx to investigate

biomechanical conditions leading to

these fractures. Horse legs which had

been frozen to 21°C below zero right

after the death of the horses were prepared

immediately after the thawing

process. The sample are fi xed in the

chucks using a fast drying cement. The test is held with punch’s speeds

of 3 m/s and displacements of either 2 or 4 mm.

This execution allows beside of conventional

tension compression or fl exural testing

this the lower grip can be removed easily

3-Room Universal Testing Machine

The electromechanical testing machine

Series LFM 600 kN / 100 kN / 10 kN is

equipped with two additional testing

rooms. Additional test stations are added

on the right and left hand side. They are

ideal for applications where high and low

strength materials (from l building

materials to rubber) must be tested. Each

testing station is equipped with the correct

load cell providing most accurate testing

with the suitable grip or fi xture. No need

for time consuming changing at test set-up.

Testing of Railway Bumpers

High speed compression testing machine Type

with hydraulic power pack controller as well

as testing and reporting software PROTEUS for

automatic test procedure until report generation.

The automatic test procedure starts after

the bumper is placed on the testing table and

automatically moved in and out of the testing

chamber and additionally the protection device

around the machine is closed.

Shear Testing Device according to EN 15340

The Series STM 10 - 20 kN is specially designed according the new European

Standard EN 15340 for the determination of shear load resistance

of thermally sprayed coatings. The test is conducted to determine

the strength of the bond between the spray deposit and the parent

material (adhesive strength) and the strength of the coating (cohesive


strength). Designed for coatings of minimum thickness of 150 μm.

Thermo Mechanical Fatigue Testing - TMF

The dynamic testing system Type

LFV 100 kN is specially designed for

thermo mechanical fatigue (TMF)

testing. The machine is equipped with

high speed induction heating system

high temperature capacitive axial extensometer

Type 3648 and hydraulic

operated dynamic collet grips Series

HCG. The extensometer features

through its design a very low specimen

contact force.

Simulation of

Environmental Conditions

The testing machine type LFV 100 kN is

equipped with climatic chamber for simulation

of temperatures from -150°C

up to 600°C and additional relative humidity

from 40% up to 90%. The chamber

and testing machine are confi gured

to accept dynamic rated bend fi xture

Type BT 399 and COD gauge Type 3541

for fracture toughness and FCG tests

according to relevant standards under

room temperature and simulated

conditions.
