关于滑靴的结构,应该防止由于倾斜而引起密封带出现偏磨,所以往往在密封带外面加上一道断开的外辅助支承面环带。这样,即使滑靴出现某些偏磨,也不会破坏滑靴的平衡设计,从而延长了滑靴的寿命。为了减小对滑靴底面的比压,并防止由于压力冲击而引起滑靴底面沉凹的变形(这种变形引起松靴),常常在滑靴的密封带内侧加上一个或几个内辅助支承环带,为了不影响滑靴的支承力,并使密封环带内侧压力迅速伸展,内辅助支承面在圆周上是断开的。
