Preparation:

Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hsTNF-receptor II. Anti-Human sTNF-receptor II specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hsTNF-receptor II matrix.

Sandwich

To detect hsTNF-receptor II by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech’s Biotinylated Anti-Human sTNF-receptor II (500-P168Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hsTNF-receptor II.

Western Blot

To detect hsTNF-receptor II by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1- 0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hsTNF-receptor II is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Neutralization

To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human sTNF Receptor-II (0.5 μg/ml) a concentration of 15.0 - 20.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required.

Immunohistochemistry

This antibody stained PC-3 and CaCo-2 cells. The primary antibody was incubated at 3.0 mg/ml overnight at 4°C followed by a fluorescent labeled secondary antibody. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. Information is courtesy of the Cell Profiling group, SciLifeLab Stockholm.
