一般来说,碳硫联测分析仪在碳、硫的连续测定中,难点是硫。这是因为:,钢铁中硫的含量比碳低得多,含量降低,测定越困难;第二,钢铁中硫化物(MnS、FeS)比想要的碳化物(Mn3Fe3C)熔点高,比较燃烧反应的G值,这些硫化物的燃烧反应比相应的碳化物要困难的多;第三;比较燃烧后的产物,有副反应发生,在一定条件下易转化成三氧化硫,而化碳无此现象。碳硫联测分析仪时由于上述原因硫的测定比碳困难得多,而且测定的准确度也差。
