但由于双唇密封结构加工难度较大,生产成本较高,目前很少采用。比较槽接触式密封结构和内外径接触式密封结构,由于结构具体如下四个优点:内圈不带密封槽,加工成本更低;密封圈唇口与经过磨削的内外径配合过盈量分散度较小;在相同密封效果下摩擦力矩更小;在相同摩擦力矩和密封圈内侧承受相同油压下,密封圈唇口与内圈接触面不易脱离,这点对于轴承密封圈内侧受压情况下的密封非常有利。轿车汽车发动机箱体轴承采用内外径接触式密封结构更为普遍。
