TiO2用量在7.5%时,其耐火时间*长。在实际过程中,也发现当TiO2的用量在7.5%时,形成的是一个低膨胀率高强度炭化层,发泡效果较好,泡沫层也相当致密,耐火性能优越。当TiO2的用量低于7.5%时,耐火时间随着用量的增加而延长,这是因为TiO2对涂料的强度有很大的贡献,且TiO2不会像有机物那样变为气体逸出,使膨胀发泡层保持有效的骨架成分,增加了燃烧后炭质层的强度,使涂层经久耐烧;当其用量过7.5%时,随着TiO2用量的增加,耐火时间却变短了,这是因为虽然TiO2的加入在增加炭质层的强度的同时,过多的添加却了涂层的膨胀,使得炭质层的强度的同时,过多的添加却了涂层的膨胀,使得炭质层气孔大小不均匀,密度增大,热导率相应增加,影响了涂层的防火性能。
